Back to School must haves; beyond the crayons and backpacks

Lucca starts kindergarten in 3 days and I am unwell. The school supply list is fulfilled, and I wanted to share a few extras with you that are rounding out our list. I do realize that this is a touch late, but would it be in brand if I posted this early? Definitely not. And trust me when I say that there is still time, even if you don't have these items prior to school beginning.

Beyond the crayons and backpacks, this is our list of back to school must haves:

First up - Immugummies & Thieves roll on

Immugummies are an elderberry gummy that taste like fruit snack and build your immunity. Taking an elderberry supplement has been shown to reduce the length and severity of colds, and I'm all about that life. We also roll diluted thieves essential oil on our spines every morning. I dilute with fractionated coconut oil, but you can use whatever carrier oil you like. In a 10ml roller I put 20 drops of thieves and fill the rest with carrier oil. It's not just for the girlies with the long hair! This spray wards off the hair bugs. If you've had an experience with these invasive critters, you know once was enough! A spritz through Lucca's hair everyday keeps the bugs away!

And last but certainly not least - Apple airtag

I hate that this is even a thing, but at the same time am also grateful for it. In todays world, you can never be too sure. Hopefully it's all for nothing, but I'll feel more relaxed knowing I know where my kid is. I don't think we are at a point for Gabb watches, and certainly way to young for a cell phone. So the air tag will keep me sane, and not an anxiety filled mom. Ok, you're right. I'll still have plenty of anxiety to go around, but this should lessen it when it comes to Lucca and his safety!

Editing to add: AirTags are not meant to track people without their knowledge. Lucca knows that we put this in his backpack in case he would get off the bus at the wrong stop, or if something else happened that took him away from where he should be so that we can find him.
